SGD Design Tool
High Throughput Data services need a large number of gateways, in some cases even in the hundreds. Planning how many gateways are needed and where to locate them for the optimum performance can be challenging and getting it wrong can mean disruption and outages.
Our SGD Design Tool helps mitigate that by using statistical analysis of historical weather patterns to ensure the best possible network availability and help you determine the most cost-effective network/gateway system configuration.
SGD Operational Tool
The SGD Operational Tool uses AI-techniques to enable operators to pro-actively manage both simple two-station diversity gateways and more complex Smart Gateway Diversity (SGD) arrangements by predicting outages 7+ hours ahead, analysing weather predictions at all gateways and automatically transferring traffic to alternate gateways before outages occur.
The Operational Tool can be configured to provide forecast gateway switching plans every 15 minutes, which can then be executed either manually or automatically using an API.
